  1. 3-16-94                          Faxswitch
  2.      If  you  want the faxmodem to work on a single phone line,  to  answer
  3.  
  4. incoming fax or voice recording, then you may want to use a  fax-voice-data
  5.  
  6. switch. This recognises the fax 'beep' and routes the call the the  correct
  7.  
  8. device.
  9.  
  10.      We  have  not tested any Fax Switching devices with any  of  our  Zoom
  11.  
  12. Faxmodems  or  software.  The  main question is,  does  the  Faxmodem  work
  13.  
  14. correctly without the device in place? If the faxmodem does work by itself,
  15.  
  16. then your particular device is the problem and you will have to talk to the
  17.  
  18. Mfr or try another device. The faxswitch must be between the modem and the
  19.  
  20. 'wall'.
  21.      Radio  Shack  has two models of Fax-switches, and if  they  work  with
  22.  
  23. Radio Shack Faxmodems, will also work with Zoom Faxmodems.
